The TAA Compliant, German-made CX40-59 shredder meets the protected shredding needs of the standard commercial space. It boasts an impressive 40 sheet capacity and a cross-cut (Level P-3) cut type and security level. As a cross-cut shredder it shreds paper in two directions and is suitable for shredding average security business documents including presentations, emails and reports. One sheet of letter-size paper is shred into 332 pieces. Users can shred as much as 40 sheets at a time, including the ones with paper clips and staples. This shredder may also shred bank cards, CDs and DVDs. The shredded materials are caught in an extra large 59 gallon waste bin. A bin full indicator at the shredder interface will remove darkness from when the bin must be emptied; the pull-out bin will also be lined with plastic shredder bags to make this task easier.

Understanding Shredder Security Levels
Strip-cut (Level P-2)
Provides basic security. Use to shred documents that don’t include any especially sensitive information, such as junk mail or documents with expired data. One letter-size sheet of paper is shred into 30 or more strips.
Cross-cut (Level P-3)
Average level of security That may be really useful for so much users. Safely destroys confidential documents by shredding paper in two directions. One letter-size sheet of paper is shred into 200 or more pieces.
Super Cross-cut (Level P-4)
