Description
The START International ZCM1100K electronic tape dispenser with creaser and safety guard cutting head for thin tapes mechanically cuts, creases, and advances predefined tape lengths, and is suitable for medium to high production of repetitive taping in industrial applications. The dispenser adds a crease, which is suited to tapes that have a tendency to curve such as polyester and polyimide films. The protection guard protects the operator from the cutting mechanism by preventing the cutter from activating when objects such as fingers or tools are present. The dispenser accepts tape rolls in widths from 0.5 to 1.1″ (12 to 28 mm), with an out of doors roll diameter as much as 7″/178 mm. The usage of the LED display panel, feed and cut will also be set to mechanically advance and cut the material. The photosensor detects if there’s tape on the outlet for accurate and consistent feeds and cuts. The feed and cut can be operated manually with a push button. Preset lengths of 0.79 to 39″ (20 to 999 mm) will also be overridden for a custom cut, after which returned to the autofeed settings. Feed roller pressure will also be adjusted for tape thickness. The guillotined cut provides a straight edge to the dispensed tape. Estimated blade life is 200,000 cuts, depending upon the kind of tape material. Cut length tolerance is + or – 0.04″/1 mm. The 3-in-1 core holder allows a range of tape roll sizes to be mounted. The dispenser has a steel frame for durability and a cabinet constructed from flame-retardant, anti-static composite. The ZCM1000K tape dispenser operates on 117 VDC at 50/60 Hz. It’s suitable for industrial uses such as manufacturing, assembly, and packaging.

Tape dispensers hold and cut tape. They’re utilized in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging. Tape guns are portable, hand-held tape dispensers which might be useful for small jobs. Table-top dispensers allow an operator to rip off the tape after which bring it to the point of application. Manual table-top dispensers allow an operator to drag and tear any amount of tape, or to dispense a fixed amount of tape by use of a hand lever. Electronic dispensers is also actuated by the push of a button or by a sensor that detects when the in the past cut length of tape has been got rid of. Most tape dispensers work with pressure-sensitive tapes, such as transparent place of job tape, packing tape, or strapping tape. Gummed tape dispensers, often referred to as water-activated tape dispensers, work with water-activated adhesive tape. These dispensers moisten every piece of tape as It’s dispensed.
START International manufactures tape dispensers, label dispensers, and optical inspection tools. The company, founded in 1981, is headquartered in Addison, TX.
