Description
The START International TBC50SH non-adhesive subject matter cutter with photosensor and hot knife is appropriate for heavy-production, high-speed cutting of ribbon, belting, webbing, sleeving, strapping, nylon rope, and other materials at risk of fraying. This microprocessor-controlled hot cutter may also be programmed to routinely advance, cut, and heat-seal as much as 140 pieces of subject matter per minute at 2″/50 mm in length. The cutter accepts one wide roll or a couple of rolls of non-adhesive materials as much as 4.3″/110 mm wide. A photosensor ensures accuracy of cut lengths. Hot knife temperature is adjustable for the heated high-speed steel (HSS) blade. Feed roller pressure is adjustable for skinny or smooth materials. No tooling is needed to chop different materials. The stepper motor ensures position keep watch over and accuracy. Cut length tolerance is + or – 0.04″/1 mm. Security measures include automatic power shut-off if subject matter runs out, adjustable temperature keep watch over for decent knife, and safety guard to offer protection to the operator from the cutting mechanism. The TBC50SH cutter operates on 120 VDC at 50/60 Hz. It’s suitable for top-production and high-speed industrial uses such as manufacturing and assembly.

Non-adhesive subject matter cutters hold and cut materials such as tubing, sleeving, aramid fiber, hook-and-loop fasteners, ribbon, rope, and wire. They’re utilized in manufacturing and assembly. Electronic cutters are actuated by a sensor that detects when the prior to now cut length of subject matter is got rid of or by a push button. Angled cutters have an adjustable blade that cuts the fabric at a preset angle. Guillotine cutters cut the fabric at a fixed 90-degree angle. Hot cutter, or hot knife, machines have a heated cutting blade that seals the fabric as It’s cut. This kind of cutter is really useful for synthetic materials which might be at risk of fraying when cut, such as nylon. The temperature of the blade may also be adjusted for the fabric. Ultrasonic cutters vibrate the blade ultrasonically to scale back cutting resistance of fabrics such as plastic automotive parts, leather, rubber, and bonded textiles.
START International manufactures tape dispensers, label dispensers, and optical inspection tools. The corporate, founded in 1981, is headquartered in Addison, TX.
