3M 845 Book Tape is a difficult crystal-clear clear tape with an extended-aging, artificial adhesive that conforms readily to book contours and flexes with cover movements. Very good for repairing, reinforcing, protective and covering bound edges and surfaces. Use on books, magazines, pamphlets, record album jackets and more. The clear polypropylene backing has Very good clarity which does not hide title data or printing and saves money and time by getting rid of relabeling. It’s difficult, versatile, resists abrasion and cracking, and is conformable which reduces rebinding or replacement prices. Its artificial archival adhesive is long aging and won’t discolor or dry out so it would possibly not become worse with time causing imaginable subsequent repair.
