Hand-made in northern Italy, by professional artisans, the Chaos timepiece’s so much putting function is the case, formed from a number of Gold, with black PVD-covered steel back. It boasts the signature skull-and-serpents motif that continues across the case, together with a small, engraved skull at the winding crown. Its highlights have been intensified by delicate shading, at the same time as different editions will be offering the main points in hand-applied, full-colour enamels. The case is complemented by a leather strap with contrasting edges and skull motif buckle, at the same time as the dial options applied Roman numerals. The black, bi-level, brushed guilloché dial with luminous hands and date aperture at 3 o’clock is secure by a sapphire crystal.
Throughout the huge 54x43mm-diameter solid sterling silver or 18k forged gold case beats the Swiss ETA 2824 movement. It’s secured by 4 screws and includes a screw-down crown, protective against water ingress to 10ATM.
