“Bugatti” – for lots of automobile enthusiasts, it’s the Such a lot evocative name within the history of the motorcar. Starting at the cap and running via the whole pen, the metal surfaces are engraved with a pattern of “Dynamic Quilting”, recalling the upholstery inside a Veyron. The fountain pen has an 18k gold nib, and may be engraved with the “Dynamic Quilting” pattern and featuring the famous Bugatti logo. The oval logo, referred to as “macaron” in French, also appears in full colour at the best of the cap of each pen, at the same time as the form of the Veyron’s headlights inspired the engraving across the cap ring. All Bugatti Pur Sang Duotone pens are packaged in specially-designed boxes with the Bugatti badge’s oval cross-section. The lid’s inner surface features the “Dynamic Quilting” pattern, at the same time as the outer case suggests carbon fibre, as used extensively within the Veyron.
