Hooker Furniture uses moderately chosen cast picket and make a selection picket veneers over durable picket merchandise in our furniture construction. Use of veneers permits more ornamental looks not possible with cast picket. Veneers are used over durable picket merchandise such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made from renewable resources. MDF and particle board are utilized in quality furniture for spaces that want to be stable, such as huge surfaces. These durable picket merchandise don’t expand and contract with warmth and cold and don’t soak up moisture up to cast picket, which leads to stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
