The Trellis Assortment continues within the spirit of inventive mastery and the tradition of Old Global craftsmanship by combining the centuries-old methodology of Guilloché with the art and experience of Arduous Enamel. The Trellis Assortment comprises more than one levels of Guilloché on every Assortment piece. The four colours of translucent Arduous enamel within the Trellis Assortment are accented with opalescent white Arduous enamel and finished in 18-karat Yellow Gold and Rhodium vermeil. The fifth Trellis Assortment piece options opalescent White Arduous enamel accented in translucent black, finished in 18-kt. Yellow Gold vermeil.

The “leaf and bud” motif of the Trellis Assortment requires more than one stages of engraving; all of the body of the pen is first cut all the way down to the extent of the guilloché pattern beneath. The pattern is then engraved onto the background of the body of the pen, omitting the trellis, and leaf and bud designs which stay in prime relief.
