The Seaside Collection continues within the spirit of inventive mastery and the tradition of Old International craftsmanship by combining the centuries-old method of Guilloché with the art and experience of Laborious Enamel. The Seaside Collection is the primary to include four levels of Guilloché on each and every Collection piece. The four colours of translucent Laborious enamel within the Seaside Collection are accented with translucent white Laborious enamel and finished with Rhodium vermeil. The fifth Seaside Collection piece options translucent White on White Laborious enamel finished in a gorgeous 18-kt. rose gold vermeil.

The oceanic design of the Seaside Collection requires four separate stages of engraving. All of the body of the pen is first cut all the way down to the extent of the wave-patterned background, leaving the outlines of the shells and sand bucks in two levels of prime relief. The wave pattern is then engraved onto the remainder component to the body of the pen. The third stage of engraving applies the skeletal motif to the outside of each and every sand buck, followed by a fourth and ultimate stage of engraving the scallop pattern onto the shells.
