SUPERIOR PIGMENT EMULSION: Our artist grade oil paint laboratory formulation is derived from Western and Eastern styles. We have utilized the most up-to-date organic and inorganic pigments with water-based surfactant binders, designed to preserve the brush handling qualities intrinsic in extra fine oil techniques. Pigments are ground up to 10 times with a view to achieve a uniform viscosity ensuring that every color will perform in the same vivid and smooth manner, providing superior adhesion, tinting strength, durability, smooth texture and excellent lightfast ratings with high chroma, transparency and pigment density. We recommend only slight use of water as a thinning agent, the more you add the stickier and milkier the consistency becomes. If the paint becomes thick and hard to move around, experiment by mixing it well with water-soluble alkyd resin and or water-soluble linseed oil (linseed oil alone makes for a brittle paint film that turns yellow with age).
