In red and blue hand polished resonite, this pen features the usMarine Corps crest modelled in a shield shape to the front in sculptured relief in solid Golden Bronze. The second one panel features the raising of the U.S. flag at Iwo Jima, some of the iconic images of the army and an historic moment long remembered. The third panel has the legend ‘United States Marine Corps’ and ‘Semper Fidelis’ the motto of the Corps, that means ‘All the time Faithful, All the time Loyal’. The spring clip suits all kinds of materials, and this, in conjunction with the cap collar and decorative panels are in hand finished Golden Bronze, a pretty good subject matter, no longer plated or coated, but one with a purpose to keep its good looks.
