Description
Following the good fortune of the Ecridor Kind 55 created as a tribute to the 1967 Mustang the Geneva workshops of Caran d’Ache have revisited the hexagonal form of those writing instruments and unveiled a brand new aspect of this famous collection. The interplay of sunshine and shadow is the results of meticulous engraving that requires the entire traditional experience and innovation of the Maison de Haute Ecriture. Simply because the facade of a building turns out to capture the sunshine and achieve as much as the sky the Ecridor Rotation gives a vision of modernity. The silhouette embraces the hexagonal form wherein the lines tumble and overlap. Its clean edges are softened by the attention-grabbing coil of squares that inhabit an area between fact and imagination. The bright aspects like a window reflecting the rays of the sun tease the attention with their mirages creating a sensation of vertigo.
The Ecridor Rotation writing instruments are to be had in 4 models: fountain pen roller pen ballpoint and mechanical pencil. The fine engravings of irregular shapes apply a circular trail across the body creating an optical impact that makes it seem both rounded and hexagonal.
