Sticks are made from flexible sealing wax and molded to suit into a Full-Size (often referred to as Regular Size, NOT Mini) glue gun. You do not use a flame, there will probably be no soot to your finished wax seals, and the use of glue gun wax can also be as much as 10x faster than the use of traditional sealing wax with a wick! This wax is FDA certified for direct contact with food and can be utilized on wine, vinegar, food bottles and labels. (This product is in compliance with Federal Regulations 21CFR- 172.886 and 21CFR-178.3710.) This wax is hand-poured in the usA. Each and every stick is approximately 3 3/4 inches long by 7/16 inch diameter, and can make 10-15 wax seals when the use of a three/4 inch diameter wax seal stamp. (The selection of wax seals you get per stick might vary, depending to your technique and the dimensions of your seal stamp.) We suggest the use of a Low-Temperature full-size glue gun, or a dual-temperature full-size glue gun set to Low Temperature. Sticks can be melted in a melting pot and the melted wax poured onto your project the use of a Wax Melting Spoon. ** Please Note – color might vary moderately between batches of wax. If you want a big quantity for a different project, you should definitely get it all at one time for a greater chance of the sticks being a uniform color! **
