3M RP25 VHB Tape is a double-sided permanent assembly tape which bonds prime and medium surface energy substrates. Provides handling convenience, cushioning, damping, and have an effect on resistance. RP25 comes on a paper Liberate liner and RP25(F) comes on a polyethylene film Liberate liner. This more moderen RP circle of relatives of 3M VHB tapes has an all acrylic construction which provides the tape odd strength, conformability and flexibility. The composition of 3M VHB RP resists UV and weather damage, making it an ideal solution for out of doors applications. It bonds to all kinds of surfaces, including: glass; metal; many plastics; composites; sealed picket; and painted surfaces. Rough, porous or fibered materials such as picket, particleboard, cement, and so forth., have an open surface and require sealing to offer a unified surface for tape bonding. Not unusual sealing materials would come with paint, varnish or other hard surface coatings.
3M VHB Tape provides the ease and straightforwardness of a tape fastener and are perfect for use in many interior and exterior structural bonding applications. In many situations, they are able to replace rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives and other permanent fasteners. These VHB tapes are made with acrylic foam which is viscoelastic in nature.
